Kalamaro Piadinaro, the restaurant format by CIRFOOD RETAIL – a company dedicated to developing our commercial catering side – is now arriving in Florence at the I Gigli Shopping Centre following its opening in Milan.
Kalamaro Piadinaro is bringing Romagna to the Tuscan capital too with a flexible, creative concept, which picks up on modern catering trends and turns them into an experience all about good company and good food, without forgetting the importance of regional tradition which it was founded on in 2014.
The restaurant format developed for the I Gigli Shopping Centre offers a range of food resulting from a careful selection of the original menu.
The symbol of Romagna hospitality, the piadina flatbread, is fused with simple yet delicious seafood cuisine: a place where fun, style and delicious combinations become a social experience with the typical flavours of this famous coastline.
The classic piada recipe is improved with gourmet pairings thanks to the chefs’ creativity, while the menu offers special piadinas, piadas & burgers, fish main courses and mouthwatering salads. The menu is topped off with artisan-made semifreddos in cups for a sweet gourmet experience.
Considerable attention is also given to the raw materials used: the piadina doughs are exclusively prepared for Kalamaro Piadinaro by a renowned bakery, and the ingredients are carefully selected from P.D.O. and P.G.I. certified products and local products of the Italian Emilia-Romagna region.
The new venue opened today at ‘Corte Tonda’, on the first floor of the I Gigli Shopping Centre, covers an area of 80 m2 with over 50 seats and features a smart contemporary design.
