It's present in 17 regions and 73 provinces in Italy, as well as abroad, in Belgium and the Netherlands, producing over 100 million meals per year thanks to the work of 13,000 people, the company’s true strength.

Our history

The origins of the company go back to the late 1950s when the first inter-company canteen was set up in Reggio Emilia, serving meals to workers from the city’s companies. However, in the 1970s, three long-standing cooperatives from Emilia Romagna working in organised catering merged together and became what is now CIRFOOD. The company has gradually expanded the boundaries of its operations and strengthened its business model. Over the years, it has grown continuously, making the company the leader in the school catering sector in Italy as early as the second half of the 1990s. The company has always been active in the corporate welfare sector, first with BluBe and today with the company Valyouness, created to meet the needs of all those realities looking for complete and personalized welfare services, able to improve the well-being of their people.
